These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Belstech website and the services we offer, including IT training programs, certification exam preparation sessions, short-term workshops, job search coaching, and IT consulting services. By accessing our website or enrolling in any of our programs, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Belstech
Belstech is an IT training academy and technology consulting firm based in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. We are the sister company of Toumde Academy (Dallas, Texas, USA). Our training programs are delivered in-person at our Ouagadougou campus and/or via live online sessions. Our consulting services are available to businesses and organizations throughout West Africa and beyond.
2. Enrollment and Registration
To enroll in a training program, you must complete the registration process on our website or in person at our campus. Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of the applicable fees. Belstech reserves the right to accept or decline any enrollment application at its discretion. Minimum age for enrollment is 16 years unless a specific program states otherwise.
3. Fees and Payment
Training fees vary by program and are published on our website. All fees are quoted in CFA Francs (XOF) or USD where specified. Payment must be made in full or according to an agreed installment schedule prior to the start of the program. Fees are non-refundable except in the circumstances outlined in our Refund Policy. We reserve the right to adjust fees with reasonable notice.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you cancel your enrollment more than 14 days before the program start date, you are entitled to a full refund minus an administrative fee. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable. If Belstech cancels or significantly modifies a program, you will receive a full refund or a credit toward another program at your option.
5. Student Conduct
All students are expected to maintain a respectful and professional environment. Disruptive, abusive, or dishonest behavior — including academic dishonesty in certification prep sessions — may result in immediate dismissal from the program without a refund. Attendance and participation requirements are set per program and must be met for certificates of completion to be issued.
6. Intellectual Property
All course materials, curriculum, documentation, and content provided by Belstech are the exclusive property of Belstech or its licensed content partners. You may use these materials solely for your personal learning. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of any materials without prior written consent from Belstech is strictly prohibited.
7. IT Consulting Services
Consulting engagements are governed by separate service agreements that specify scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees. In the absence of a specific agreement, these Terms and Conditions apply. Belstech does not warrant that consulting outcomes will meet specific business targets. Our liability is limited to the value of fees paid for the specific engagement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Belstech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Burkina Faso. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
10. Changes to These Terms
Belstech reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
